It may come as a surprise to some but away from the internet ether Mooks goes by a name that isn't associated with Australian branded clothing. Named by her father after one of his favourite musicians, Marley, - Bob Marley for those scratching their heads - is an addictive writer and a self-absorbed photographer when inspiration strikes. Thankfully her circle of friends and family are understanding of their creative cupcake's neuroticisms and as such there will be no blood shod when she quietly slips away in her dainty ballet flats. Trained as a journalist this young blossom has written for several publications in her short years and is optimistic that by this time next year her first young adult's book will be sitting on the shelves at Koorong.
When she isn't in front of her Mac (and don't ask her to chose between that and her panda bear - her little blonde brain will fry) she earns her keep by working as a Research Assistant for a neuro-psychiatric boutique firm away from her cottage biding her time until God reveals his plans for this pocket rocket. She also co-runs the Seek Junior Bible Study at St Marys Anglican Church which always involves chocolate and the gospel which is always a fabulous combination for high school students in years 7 - 9. She is an active muffin who loves being in the outdoors even if at times her German / Polish skin belies something very different. Currently in the process of attempting to make the most delectable, the most scrumptious, the most phenomenally awesome gluten free red velvet cupcakes and can't wait for you to taste it. That's if her Prince Charming can get his cheeky fingers out of the batter bowl... xxx
